VIKIE is ramping up its efforts. For those unaware, VIKIE is launching a crowdfunding effort to help facilitate test vehicles to be tested by NHTSA. Once VIKIE receives NHTSA approval, VIKIE will commence to saving lives in live vehicles. NHTSA testing is not necessary, however, due to the closed nature of the automobile industry, it is very hard to get great new ideas introduced into vehicles.
Fortunately, a federal bill was signed in Dec. 2015. Upon final research, it is assured due to the number of kids and pets dying that a solid solution, like VIKIE, will no longer be optional in vehicles, but mandated. That will be a beautiful day for the hundreds of kids, pets, and K-9s.
It has become commonplace for the last 25+ years to hear about kids dying in hot vehicles during hot temperature months. It has become common and routine. It is horrific, agonizing, and preventable. This year tragedy has struck early. Well before summer, we have two child deaths in hot vehicles.
In GA, a child was found dead after being left in a vehicle (link may have changed, expired, or been deleted) running a heater. This occurred in Jan. 2016. In TX, an infant was found dead in car seat (link may changed, expired, or been deleted) after being left in vehicle. This occurred in Apr. 2016.
VIKIE would have solved both of these scenarios, we are anxious to get VIKIE to market to begin preventing these senseless kid deaths.
VIKIE needs help to reach its life-saving goal and begin saving kids and pets left in hot vehicles. Please

Watch the video below to see what dogs endure when left in hot
vehicles. However, this effect is the same in regards to small
children as well. Both are horrific. VIKIE solves both of these
problems.
